We were sitting on the Manly Ferry this morning, wondering what the delay was, as the ferries are usually very prompt ....... when the reason came in to view. A VERY large ship sailing under the Harbour Bridge
compare it with the size of the ship which was following it!
when we got to Manly, of course the first stop was for a cuppa ........
everything was blue!
we went for a walk, passing some fascinating tiny sculptures. These are just a few of them
Malcolm wasn't worried that these creatures were going to eat him!!
we had lunch sitting in the sun ....... I wonder if this was the same seagull as yesterday!
we saw lots of signs about water dragons ...... but we didn't expect to see one in the middle of the path!
most of the surfers were wearing wetsuits, but this chap was a bit more casual
on the way back on the ferry, the woman sitting next to me explained that the grey boat on the left was a police vessel and the small black one on the right was a navy boat practising intercepting hostile craft ....... but she reckoned the sailors in the yacht weren't happy to be caught in the middle!
no matter how many times we pass the Opera House, I have to take another photo!
We went out for a wonderful dinner tonight ....... but I'll tell you about it tomorrow!
