Last Saturday was frosty and sunny, perfect for shadow shots, so after lunch I headed out with the camera. I took several photos, which I am saving for another day, and instead here are some of the birds in our front garden which I took when I got back home!
me and my shadow watching the birds
two little blue tits, enjoying the fat balls
another blue tit, on the hawthorn tree
a sparrow and a blue tit
On Sunday we went for a walk round Hawick and I was able to add to my folder of shadow shots for future use, but again it was a bird that was the star of the day. No shadows in these photos, but reflections of the trees in the river
the river was partly frozen, but there are little glimpses of the reflection of the trees
did you notice the heron is standing on one leg?
More shadows can be found at Hey Harriet, where Tracy has as always put together collages of the best of last week's shadow shots.
ps - last week I realised after I had posted my SSS that one of my photos had a naked man in it - but I guess you were all concentrating on the shadows, as there were no comments about him!!
