What a week it has been! On Tuesday it rained and rained (I had thought about phoning Noah to get plans for an ark) ....... then late afternoon, the rain turned to snow. It was snowing when we went to bed and it was still snowing when we got up on Wednesday.
But then on Thursday, we got up to blue sky and sunshine ...... and wonderful shadows in the garden
we brought these wonderful birds home from Indonesia
not just shadows of the tree, but shadows of the window glazing bars on the blind
the buddleiia has some new growth
there has been little progress on the neighbours' house because of the weather
this shrub is recovering after being buried when the snow came off the roof!
To finish ....... I don't think there is a shadow or reflection in this photo - but I know there are some ladies out there waiting to see Mr April ........
We regularly pass this stone which marks the border (between Scotland and England) on the A68, but no matter how hard I look, I've never seen a naked man....... you can read about the good cause that this calendar raised funds for here
And don't forget to visit Hey Harriet to see shadows from all round the world.
