Oh yes, I remember .... I was in Linlithgow admiring the palace! In contrast to yesterday's B&W photo, this one has lots of colour ......
These are the Royal Coats of Arms over the entrance to the Palace.
Next to the Palace is the Church of St Michael, which has a distinctive spire which can be seen from miles around
(that man keeps appearing in my photos!!)
Further down the road, we stopped for a cuppa in the village of Stow (pronounced to rhyme with 'now'). We have frequently driven past this ruined church, but this was the first time I had had a chance to take photos
I was fascinated by this grave, with an angel at the top .......
and a skull and bones at the bottom
