Glorious!

First, thank you for all your lovely comments, and I am glad that you are enjoying the random posts.  We had some showers on Saturday and Sunday morning, but since then we have had blue skies.  I know that some of you at home had snow last week, so I hope you enjoy these photos!

 

Birds big and small

Of course the biggest birds we see are the swans in Berwick

 

then there are gulls

 

ducks enjoying the sunshine

 

the birds in the garden are somewhat smaller - first a robin in the bath

 

then a chaffinch

 

and I think these are greenfinches 

 

to finish - a chaffinch being photo bombed by a blackbird!
