I took these photos last week, when we were in Coldstream. The first photos show a memorial to the Battle of Flodden - a very dark day in Scottish history, when the King and most of his Noblemen were slaughtered by the English

We also visited The Hirsel, home of the Home family (you can read more about our visit here), and we saw lots of these beauties
A swan provided this lovely reflection shot
Back home the sun was still shining, casting a lovely shadow of the wrought iron railing in the back garden
